Two Custom Line Navettas and two yachts in the planing line entered the water at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.

Ancona, November 7, 2024 – Custom Line launched a total of four Made-to-measure yachts between August and early October, with lengths ranging from 30 to 42 metres.

The launch of the 32nd hull in the Custom Line Navetta 33 displacement line took place last August 1 with the owner family from the AMAS region in attendance. Also taking part in the launch ceremony were the shipyard’s employees and the outside contractors who worked on the yacht. An emblem of authentic refinement and timeless design, this 33-metre Made-to-measure yacht with a beam of 7.52 metres is permeated by class and elegance. Custom Line Navetta 33 is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee – which handled the exterior styling – and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, whose architects and designers created the interiors with the support of the Custom Line Atelier. This Made-to-measure yacht has been tailor-made to express the singular character of an experienced owner, who specifically asked for a special focus on the design of the social areas. The spacious indoor and outdoor convivial areas are furnished with large custom-designed dining and coffee tables that open and extend to accommodate up to 10 guests. These multi-purpose spaces devoted to absolute comfort and the ultimate in liveability and conviviality are for enjoying unforgettable experiences with the whole family, making every guest feel at home. The sophisticated simplicity and formal clarity of the interiors is expressed by juxtaposing pale and muted colours – such as the white, grey and bronze in all areas – with intimate shades including dark brown and lava grey. One example is the use of the deepest colour shades for the structural details in the cabins, such as the dark ribbed columns near the bed headboard, to create movement and sophisticated colour contrasts. The stand-out materials for furnishings and panelling are fine Taj Mahal and Essential Grey marble, as well as wood varieties such as Canadian maple, and leather.

The twenty-first Custom Line Navetta 30 yacht entered the water on September 10 and is the result of a design process involving the Strategic Product Department and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department; the interior architecture is the work of ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and the exterior styling is by architect Filippo Salvetti, with strategic interior design consulting provided by the Custom Line Atelier. With a length of 28.43 m and a beam of 7.3 m, this Made-to-measure yacht in the brand’s displacement line features ambitious volumes while remaining light and elegant at sea. The arrangement of the three decks amplifies on-board spaces designed to capture special moments of conviviality and relaxation. The large, glazed surfaces in the hull and the generous stern and bow areas offer a panoramic view in every direction. The other key features of Custom Line Navetta 30 are her timeless aesthetics and forward-thinking styling. The exteriors feature an extended sweep of horizontal lines towards the bow, giving the yacht a sleek and dynamic silhouette while ensuring high performance with reduced fuel consumption. The interior design cleverly blends classicism with a modern aesthetic, introducing surprising notes in the form of refined carbon detailing, exclusive lacquering and claddings customised with quartz powder textures on glass fibre. Everything has been designed to achieve the perfect balance between warm tones and cooler hues such as ultramarine blue, giving the setting an atmosphere that’s both dynamic and sophisticated. The furnishings – featuring solutions developed exclusively for this yacht – are made to measure using exquisite craftsmanship in natural leather, solid timber and plywood, reflecting a classic yet contemporary ‘sporty chic’ mood.

September 25 saw the launch of the fifth unit of the Custom Line 140’ planing line flagship, the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee – which handled the exterior styling – and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department for the interior design. The latter is supported by Custom Line Atelier’s tailor-made approach, which adds detailed research and a close focus on detail, working in tandem with the customer, the project management and production teams, and expert craftsmen who perfectly capture the style preferences of each owner. Inspired by residential architecture, the design of the outdoor and indoor areas conjures up timeless elegance and refined ‘Made in Italy’ style based on an in-depth study to enhance forms and volumes. The concept developed by the designers in conjunction with the owner reflects a deep love of the sea and the desire to experience its pure essence. This vision translates into interiors and exteriors in which fine materials like the Invisible Grey, polished Azul Cielo and vibrant Blue marbles in the bathroom areas connect with the colours and movements of the sea. Natural teak and the skilful use of leather and eco-leather complement a design that blends elegance and simplicity, heightening the authentic beauty of navigation. The combination of pale and muted colours tending to grey and butter is set off by the petrol and sapphire shades of the bed headboards and freestanding elements. Metallic paint inspired by automotive design works in harmony with the detailing of the furniture frames. The singular texture of the Northern Lights fabric on the bed headboards, which intertwines brilliance with a matt weave, is perfectly married with the metal mesh of the dressing areas/sliding doors in several the cabins, giving the settings a sporty yet sophisticated and contemporary look.

The brand’s fifteenth launch of the year was the twenty-third Made-to-measure yacht in the Custom Line 106’ planing line, which entered the water last October 10. This Made-to-measure yacht is the result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Engineering Department for the exterior styling and the Custom Line Atelier for the masterful interior design, an expression of Made in Italy excellence. At 32.82 m in length and 7.4 m in the beam, the yacht has generous spaces and clean, rigorous lines; a skilful combination of aesthetics and comfort where natural light pervades and expands the on-board spaces. The architectural balance between the exteriors and interiors is the result of interconnecting surfaces and flowing volumes from bow to stern, eliminating the boundaries between spaces. This project stands out for the chic, pared down design given a modern twist. Every detail is designed to create an exclusive setting where design meets functionality. The forward wall in the main lounge, for example, conveys warmth and intimacy through an asymmetrical ribbed American walnut effect. In the owner’s area, the ribbed American walnut panels, alternating with sand-coloured cloud-effect lacquered panels, add a touch of sophistication, emphasising the focus on detail and the desire for a personal atmosphere. The chromatic harmony of the interiors is based on the use of soft, warm colours in tones that play on different nuances of beige, bronze and mud. The furnishings feature fine, sophisticated materials such as Travertino bronze and Silk Georgette marbles, used extensively in the owner’s area, and American walnut, conjuring up a sophisticated style that permeates the various settings.
