Ancona, 5th February 2014 – Less than a month to go to the launch of the new 60 metres megayacht in steel and aluminium designed by CRN, part of the Ferretti Group and specialising in the construction of fully-customized displacement megayachts, made of steel and aluminium, ranging from 40 to 90 metres. Hull number 133 of the Ancona shipyard will be launched on March 1st at a private ceremony.
At the shipyard of Ancona work continues in view of the preparation for the ceremony: indeed, the megayacht was moved, with the help of a hydraulic travel lift, to the slipway, an inclined surface where the pre-launching operations will be carried out in the coming weeks while work on the interiors will continue. All the handling phases required great care and attention on the workers’ part.
This spectacular phase presents another work of art produced by the shipyard in all its grandeur. The external shape and internal layout of the new superyacht have been designed by Francesco Paszkowski in close collaboration with the CRN Technical Department which took care of the naval project, while the interior design was taken care of by the CRN Design Department in collaboration with the Owner’s Designer.
The vessel is strongly streamlined thanks to its sleek profile and elegant and sharp exterior lines which offer large external and internal volumes. The design solutions developed by CRN will offer constant contact with the marine elements.
At the moment, besides the 60 metre, 5 vessels of the CRN brand are being manufactured: namely, 3 steel and aluminium megayachts – CRN 131 74 m (designed by Zuccon International Project), CRN 132 73 m (designed by Omega Architects) and CRN 134 55 m (designed by Nuvolari & Lenard) – together with another maxiyacht of the Ferretti Custom Line, the CL 124’, and a Riva 122’ Mythos made of aluminium.
