New Model Descriptions
FERRETTI YACHTS 960
The Ferretti Yachts 960 is the largest planning recreational craft ever built by the Group's historical brand, in the yachts line. Measuring 96 ft. in overall length, the boat has a sleek exterior design, characterized by the extended salon windows allowing natural light and unobstructed view of the sea. The Ferretti Yachts 960 can be managed as a pleasure boat without the presence of a professional captain and showcases several industry standards when it comes to onboard liability. It is the first yacht in the Ferretti Yachts range featuring the master cabin on the main deck with a spectacular ocean views and four more cabins on the lower deck, all equally sized and with equivalent furnishings and fittings. The layout also includes three crew cabins with direct access from the galley. The flybridge and the aft area are devoted solely to leisure activities. The garage door features a series of comfortable sunpads while the swimming platform is fitted with a convenient mobile section that makes launching and hauling the tender much easier: once the garage door is opened, the central part of the platform can be lowered to flood part of the garage, allowing the tender to slide into the water, with no need for any davit. The flagship is available with three different MTU engine configurations. The standard one mounts two 16V 2000 M84 2218 mhp engines, while the two optional versions include two 16V M93 2435 mhp engines or two 16V M94 2638 mhp engines, respectively. When the most powerful set of engines is installed, the Ferretti Yachts 960 can reach a maximum speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots. The ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro) system comes standard. The 960 is the result of the cooperation between the Group’s Product Strategy Committee and the Marketing Department, together with Ferrettigroup Engineering (the company’s team of engineers and architects), AYTD - Advanced Yacht Technology & Design (the Group’s naval research center), and Studio Zuccon International Project.
PERSHING 62’
The new Pershing 62’ is immediately striking due to its streamlined, sleek profile with the bottom line, and the superstructure having been designed to obtain a lean, fast yacht characterized by its aggressive lines and a sporty personality, which are perfectly personified with its new charcoal metallic color. The new model includes some standard Pershing features like the unique shape of the hull glazing, retractable salon door that unities the salon and cockpit into one area, retractable hard top, atrium style dash gives natural light to the lower deck and showcases a full beam master amidships and a VIP that resembles a second master in terms of space allocation. The Pershing 62’ also showcases some new features including extended salon windows giving 360 degrees of ocean views and stern that includes a functional launching and storage system for the tender along with a mobile and foldable platform in the central part of the beach, which allows quick and simplified handling of the tender in the garage, using a winch rather than cranes to lower it into water. The first Pershing 62’ unit was manufactured with a standard layout, including three cabins - the master suite, a VIP and guest cabin at the bow, and three bathrooms with separate showers. Along the port-side wall there is the galley, which receives additional light from an opening in the ceiling. The alternative version, which is already being built on the second model, has two cabins, the master suite and a VIP cabin, while the guest cabin is replaced by a living room. Both versions have a crew cabin which can be reached from the cockpit, with a single bed and integrated bathroom. The new 62’ is available in two engine versions including a double MTU 10V 2000 M84 with a power of 1381 mhp, or two MTU units- 10V 2000 M93, with a power of 1524 mhp, which is included on current hull and can surmount speeds up to 46 knots. The standard version is equipped with Searex surface propellers and upon requests its possible to install an Autotrim system. The Pershing 62’ is result of the collaboration among the Ferretti Group Product Strategic Committee and the Marketing Department, together with Ferrettigroup Engineering (the company’s team of engineers and architects), AYTD - Advanced Yacht Technology & Design, and yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni.
