Shanghai, 12th October 2015 - Known as “the Oscar of the Luxury Industry”, the annual Best of Best Award Gala organized by Robb Report China was held at Shanghai Jing An Shangri-La Hotel last September 24th.
VIP readers, movie stars, celebrities, artists, top management of international luxury brands in China came from all over China to join Robb Report team and to witness the birth of dozens of new 2015 Best of Best awards, categorized into motorization (for yacht, car, and jet), lifestyle, fashion, and art collectors.
All awards are granted to the best brands, products and individuals that contributed most to improve the lifestyle quality of Chinese upscale consumers in the past year. Among them, the brand new Ferretti Yachts 870 “Tai He Ban” Special Edition was awarded as the Best Semi-Customized Yacht.
Ferretti Yachts 870 “Tai He Ban” Special Edition was premiered last May at the 2015 Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show. After five months, the Best of Best award is another great recognition by the Chinese market to embrace the “Tai He Ban” philosophy, which consists in yachts designed and manufactured by the Group’s shipyard specifically for the Asia Pacific customers.
The ‘Tai He Ban’ layout, indeed, embodies the ‘Design Philosophy’ drawing inspiration from the famous Hall of Supreme Harmony, one of the most prestigious and luxurious palaces in Forbidden City of Beijing, where the most important official ceremonies were held in the presence of the Emperor and his dignitaries.
This Special Edition, available across the entire brand’s fleet, was introduced to the market at the end of 2013. And in just more than one year’s time a wide part of the Ferretti Yachts’ range have been delivered in Asia Pacific in the “Tai He Ban” Special Edition.
FERRETTI YACHTS 870 “TAI HE BAN”
Boasting an overall length of more than 26.5 meters and a beam of 6.26 meters, Ferretti Yachts 870 has extensively renovated the range in the sizes above 80 feet in lengths.
It allows its guests to fully enjoy the volumes and comfort of a large Ferretti Yachts vessel, both indoor and outdoor.
More specifically, in the main deck all the relaxation areas have been entirely customized: the salon includes from stern to bow a living area, the bar area to starboard, and the dining area, while the pilot station is separated by a door, beyond the dining area.
Ferretti Group’s architects and designers have really succeeded in creating a charming, exclusive on board décor, characterized by original and refined solutions.
The décor pattern found across this part of the deck - which can also be admired below deck in the playroom with karaoke - is unprecedented for Ferretti Yachts and gives this 87-footer a truly unmistakable style.
It is a fascinating geometric and colour pattern in different materials, formed by rectangular tiles in four different colours and textures - metal combined with four different types of leather.
In the lower deck, the layout of the Ferretti Yachts 870 ‘Tai He Ban’ stands out for the flawless arrangement of the areas devoted to entertainment and those accommodating guests: a playroom replaces the full beam master stateroom. Here, the owner and his guests can enjoy Asian’s favorite entertainment such as large screen karaoke and cards playing in a cozy and comfortable environment.
Moreover, this edition’s interiors have been specifically designed to host business meetings, official receptions, informal events, and its décor solutions too have been carefully developed to this purpose.
